This project was first launched 3 years ago, at the initiative of a former member of Solidari'Terre. It was the realization that student engagement should not be solely financial. The guiding idea was to help the most needy, and to create a constructive exchange around education.
Classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays between 9am and 12pm at the Corbas prison. The aid is for women. Students who volunteer are accompanied by François. He is the teacher referring to classes taught at the prison. François is pleasantly surprised by the ease of the students of EM Lyon to be able to create a real complicity.
There are many women who have great goals in mind, such as passing a letter degree, or getting a BTS, and sometimes some people can be easily reinted by that. Thus, it is not only a question of offering French or English courses, but of adapting what we do to what is envisaged beforehand.
