The Charity Evening, the new event of Solidari’terre
The Charity Evening is a new Solidari’terre event, inspired by the historic Vernissage.
Soli’s Vernissage was held for the first time in 2016. It presented the most beautiful shots taken by participants in the association’s International Missions at the Palais de la Bourse. The 2019 mandate, followed by the 2020 mandate had the ambition to transform it into a Charity Evening. Unfortunately, the event could not take place in 2020 due to the health context.
The Charity Evening is divided into 4 parts: a vernissage accompanied by a cocktail, a prestigious dinner, an auction and then a dance with all along the exchanges on our solidarity projects. This year it will take place in the Terrasses du Parc hall in Villeurbanne.
Students of emlyon, members of the administration of emlyon, partners of Solidari’Terre and alumni of the emlyon forever network will be invited to this evening.
The objective of the event is twofold: to promote the missions of solidarity and the actions carried out by the association Solidari’Terre to professional partners but also to encourage the students of Emlyon to engage with the association.
The Vernissage
The guests come to discover the photos of the summer projects and exchange their impressions around a buffet realized by the association Sup’ De Coteaux. They have the possibility to buy the pictures presented, printed with a professional quality. The funds collected contribute to both the costs of the event and the solidarity missions.
The Prestige Dinner
At the end of the opening and the cocktail, the guests are invited to join their seats in order to watch a short film of 10 minutes on the actions of the association Solidari’terre as well as testimonies. They will then be able to enjoy a prestigious dinner made by a caterer while continuing to discuss the various projects carried out by the association at the local and international level.
The Auction
Before the end of the dinner, an auction will be held by an auctioneer where 25 lots will be presented to raise funds.
The Party
The auction will then give way to a dance party for the greatest pleasure of all the guests.
The funds will be donated to a local association
All the funds raised during the evening of the Charity will be donated to the local association partner of the event.
