The Project
In July 2021, our team of eleven students from emlyon business school and Centrale Lyon will spend three weeks in the village of Fadenyo-Kope. This farm, located 260 km northeast of Lomé in the canton of Atinè, is home to about 100 inhabitants.
The project is conducted in partnership with AJSED (association of young people for the support of underprivileged children).
The main objective? To build a water pump that will run on solar energy to allow the inhabitants to have easier access to drinking water.
Access to drinking water is very limited in the village of Fadenyo-Kopé. In the current context of global health crisis, this represents a major problem.
Thus the association Solidari’terre makes it a point of honor to support the inhabitants of the village in order to improve their daily life.
On the other hand, we will bring our help for the finalization of the school whose construction was engaged during the previous missions.
Finally, we would like to bring various notebooks and school books in order to offer the pupils of this school some academic support.
