The Project
The first edition of this summer project was launched in 2017, in partnership with the Senegalese association Keur d’Afrique. The latter carries out projects initiated and initiated by the senegalese local population in essential areas: education, health, water and the village economy.
Our mission is twofold for this project. First of all, we are involved in the reforestation of 24 Senegalese villages. These villages are part of the rural community of Diarrère, about 150km southeast of Dakar; it is one of the poorest regions of Senegal. Our second mission is to help the village of Bicole (one of the 24 villages in the community) by renovating the school and providing academic support in physics-chemistry and mathematics to first and senior students.
